Useful Contact numbers

Autism in Mann Committee members met with representatives from the Crisis Team and the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) to clarify which numbers families should call when they need help. The suggested contacts are:

For immediate safety concerns, where someone might be seriously hurt, contact police via 999. Although this can be a really difficult decision for parents to make, the constabulary will respond by keeping everyone safe. They will not be intent on criminalising children or their behaviours and can be guided by CRHTT where required.

The Talk service offers therapeutic support and handles all new referrals to CAMHS. When you land on The Talk web page, click on ‘Refer a young person’. The new service also means that families can self-refer.
